How it all began
PINO Roastery was born from a true story
A story that smells like moka coffee, hands dusted with freshly ground beans, grandparents smiling under their moustaches, and journeys that forever change the way you see, drink, and live coffee.
Childhood
The moka pot on the stove
Like every Italian child, Giuseppe first met coffee in the kitchen. Water, the filter, the little “mound” of ground coffee, the crema made with the first drops—thick like lava. A family ritual.
Growing up
A gesture of trust
Coffee becomes a symbol of growing up—an everyday ritual after lunch, at the bar, at university. A pause, an excuse, a therapist, a small act of daily democracy.

The (re)discovery
In Australia, Giuseppe and Hanna rediscover the world of coffee: yes espresso, but also filter, fermentations, origins, light roasts. Coffee is no longer just “strong” or “long”—it’s fruity, floral, clean, vibrant.

We want to bring into your cup the same sense of wonder Giuseppe felt when he went from his grandfather’s moka pot to a V60 in Sydney, from a ristretto at the neighborhood bar to a roastery in Berlin.
We source high-quality coffees from producers who work ethically and sustainably, then roast them with carefully designed profiles to honor origin and elevate flavor in the cup.
