Espresso

01 — Pressure

Espresso

Precision, Power & Passion in a Cup

Espresso is not just a coffee — it’s the most concentrated and expressive form of coffee extraction. Born in Italy and perfected over more than a century, espresso represents the ultimate balance between science, craft and emotion.

By forcing hot water through finely ground coffee at high pressure, espresso extracts intense aromas, deep sweetness, complex acidity and a rich, velvety body — all in just 25–30 seconds. Every variable matters: grind size, dose, ratio, pressure, temperature and time must work in harmony.

A great espresso delivers density, crema, structure and clarity. It should be bold yet balanced, powerful yet elegant. When done right, it captures the full identity of the coffee bean in a single, unforgettable sip.

At Pino Roastery, espresso is our language. We roast every coffee with espresso in mind: to be sweet, clean, expressive and emotionally engaging.

Moka Pot

02 — Steam

Moka Pot

The Icon of Italian Coffee Culture

The Moka Pot is one of the most iconic coffee brewers ever created. Invented in Italy in 1933 by Alfonso Bialetti, it brought real coffee culture into millions of homes and shaped the way generations experience coffee.

Unlike espresso machines, the Moka uses steam pressure to push hot water through finely ground coffee, producing a strong, rich and full-bodied cup with intense aroma and texture. It’s not espresso — but it’s proudly its own style: bold, comforting, and deeply expressive.

A well-brewed Moka delivers high body, strong flavor and a thick mouthfeel, with a character that sits beautifully between espresso and filter coffee.

At Pino Roastery, we see the Moka as more than a brewer — it’s a ritual. A slow, intentional way to make coffee that rewards care, quality beans, and attention to detail.

AeroPress

03 — Hybrid

AeroPress

Where Innovation Meets Coffee Craft

The AeroPress is one of the most influential coffee brewers of the modern specialty coffee movement. Invented in 2005 by Alan Adler, it quickly became a global phenomenon thanks to its simplicity, portability, and incredible brewing flexibility.

Unlike traditional filter methods, the AeroPress combines immersion and gentle pressure, allowing full control over every brewing variable: grind size, water temperature, brew time, agitation, and pressure. This makes it a favorite among baristas, competitors, and home brewers alike.

With an AeroPress, you can brew everything from a clean, tea-like cup to a bold, espresso-style concentrate. It delivers high sweetness, low bitterness, and exceptional clarity.

At Pino Roastery, we love the AeroPress because it rewards curiosity. It’s a brewer that grows with you: easy to start, but endlessly deep to master.

Filter Coffee

04 — Percolation

Filter Coffee

Clarity, Elegance & Precision

Filter coffee, especially through pour-over methods like the V60, is all about clarity, balance and expression of origin. It’s a percolation brew: hot water flows through coffee grounds and a paper filter, extracting flavors layer by layer.

This method highlights aromatics, acidity and sweetness with exceptional transparency. When brewed correctly, filter coffee is clean, vibrant and nuanced — the perfect way to experience terroir, processing and roast style.

Great pour-over depends on three fundamentals: freshly roasted coffee, clean soft water, and a consistent high-quality grind. With controlled pouring and proper bloom, you achieve a cup that is sweet, structured and incredibly expressive.

At Pino Roastery, we roast many coffees specifically to shine in filter brewing — floral, juicy and elegant.

French Press

05 — Immersion

French Press

Texture, Depth & Sweetness

French Press is the ultimate immersion brewing method. Coffee and water steep together, allowing full, even extraction across all particles. This creates a cup with rich body, deep sweetness and round texture.

Unlike paper-filtered methods, French Press uses a metal mesh, allowing more oils and micro-particles into the cup — which means more mouthfeel and intensity.

When brewed with medium grind, fresh coffee and patience, French Press delivers a coffee that is full, comforting and complex. Letting the coffee settle before pouring keeps the cup clean and silky.

At Pino Roastery, we love French Press for chocolatey, nutty and structured coffees — perfect for slow mornings and deep conversations.
